Inside Sales and Marketing Support Representative

Company: GuideK12 is based in MN, works with school districts across the country from districts with 350,000 students to others with 2,000 students. GuideK12’s powerful web-based analytics software helps a wide range of users within a school district — from the superintendent wanting to analyze trends affecting the budget, to a committee wanting to examine boundary changes, to a parent needing to know if their potential home purchase is in the preferred school zone.
The GuideK12 analytics suite incorporates information from a variety of sources — enabling analysis, strategic planning, enrollment analysis, growth and consolidation analysis, along with the ability to view information spatially — all wrapped up in a single user-friendly tool that is easy to use.
GuideK12 seeks an energetic Inside Salesperson with a track record of successfully generating and qualifying leads at multiple executive and decision-making levels within an organization. The Inside Sales Associate will be an integral member of the sales and marketing team and work closely with the field sales organization to successfully close business opportunities.
Principal Responsibilities:
• Set up online demonstration appointments for school districts to see GuideK12 software through cold calls and emails
• Support all aspects of the sales process needed from Senior Sales Team members
• Detailed Documentation in SalesForce of all customer interactions, so clear analysis and reporting can be extracted and acted upon
• Support all aspects of marketing as needed, primarily follow up and documentation, analysis and tracking
• Identifying high potential accounts and generating interest via calls and emails
• Working with marketing on all event follow up and SalesForce documentation of all attendees
• Salesforce documentation on all demos and account interactions, working closely with Senior Sales Team members
• Tracking all opportunities and leads and keeping them moving through pipeline in SalesForce
• New Client Training Communication and SalesForce documentation so all training details are clearly documented
• Qualify leads for advancing in the sales process
• Study metrics, narrow down target markets, and increase lead generation
• Generating proposals, editing documents and confirming accuracy prior to sales sending

• This is a full time position based in Minnesota. Must have a dedicated, quiet, home office space.
